The repair isn't done until it's painted

A perfect patch under primer is still a white square on your wall. We match your paint and finish the job, so when we leave, the room is back to normal.

Most drywall companies stop at texture and hand you a primed patch. Then you're hunting for the old paint can in the garage, hoping it hasn't separated, or trying to remember which white the builder used. We close that gap: we match the color and the sheen, and we paint the repair before we call the job finished.

Matching paint is more than taking a chip to the store. Sheen matters as much as color; an eggshell patch on a flat wall flashes every time the light hits it. Age matters too, because paint on a wall shifts over the years. Sometimes the honest answer is that a corner-to-corner repaint of one wall will blend better than spot-painting, and we'll tell you when that's the case.

If you have a painter you like, or you're repainting the whole room anyway, we're glad to leave the repair primed and ready instead. Your call.

Roller putting fresh paint on a repaired wall
The repair is finished when the paint reads as one wall.
  • Homeowners who want the repair fully finished in one go
  • Sellers prepping walls for photos and showings
  • Landlords and property managers doing make-readies
  • Anyone whose touch-up paint no longer matches the wall

How it works

  1. 1

    Match

We read the color and sheen from the wall itself.

  2. 2

    Paint

The repair area gets painted and blended into the surrounding wall.

  3. 3

    Check in the light

We look at the wall with you in natural light before we're done.

What's included

  • Color match – matched to the wall as it is now, not the ten-year-old can
  • Sheen match – flat, eggshell, satin, or semi-gloss, matched so the patch doesn't flash
  • Repair painting – the patched area painted and blended
  • Single-wall repaints – when spot-painting would show, we take the wall corner to corner
  • Prime-only option – left ready for your own painter if you prefer

Actually finished

One visit, one contractor, and the wall is done, not waiting on a second trade.

No flashing patches

Sheen-matched so the repair doesn't announce itself every time the light changes.

Straight advice

If a full-wall repaint will blend better than a spot touch-up, we say so up front.

About the estimate

Paint matching is quoted with your repair estimate, so you see one price for the finished wall.

Common questions

Do you paint whole rooms?

Our painting is tied to our drywall work: repairs, single walls, and new installations. For a whole-house repaint, you want a dedicated painting crew.

What if my paint is old and faded?

We match the wall as it is today. When a spot touch-up would still show against faded paint, we'll recommend repainting that wall corner to corner and price it for you.
